Barnes VOR-TX factory ammo in 30-06
Greeting fellow hunters
does anyone of your gents in South Africa know whether one can purchase factory loaded Barnes VOR-TX in 30-06 cal in RSA?
If so - can you advise the dealership please?
What factory load ammo, (i do not reload) with exceptional weight retention and serious accuracy (off-course) would you gents recomend for 30-06 cal?
Hunting Kudu / Oryx and Eland (100 - 200 Meters)

I have no idea if you can buy the Barnes 30-06 VOR-TX ammo in SA, but it is clearly the factory load for the 30-06 I will recommend for all PGs or any kinds of none DG animals you want to hunt all over the world.
The second choice would be a factory load using a Swift A-frame or a Swift Scirocco II bullet.

I hear you brother, and i soooo wish we had the choices of different factory loads found at our neighbours - South Africa (SA), but we don't. So i was thinking of importing from SA, got Rosenthals in WHK to quote me on 5 x packets PMP African Elite loaded with Swift A-frames......I had to look 3 times to be sure i read the quote right...ZAR 4300 / 100 bullets, that is ZAR 43 / bullet!!!

Perhaps i should start thinking of:
1. reloading - and cut on my fishing and golfing times during weekends...
2. marry my bankmanager's daughter and import premiunm factory loads from South-Africa...
Some choices huh

If you have problems to buy good quality factory ammo for a decent price, I highly recommend you to start reloading your own ammo.
