I recently watched a programme on tv about a guy who lived in Northern Canada who studied polar bears,he also lived on Svalbard.He had a rather old looking bolt action rifle which he said needed to be powerfull enough to kill a polar bear with one shot.Does anyone have any idea what calibre this rifle could have been?Thanks,Barry
