    Default 450\400 3 \ 4\1 NE brass

I have received my double rifle about a month ago from the shippers.I have around 200 old orriginal Kynoch ammo with it.I got a 450\400 three and a quater NE in the old english C.Lancaster.Barrels are 28 inches.
Now it will become 1 off my working guns on elephant, lion, and buffalo back up guns. With the old Kynoch ammo i have done some penetration tests on buffalo and elephant in Zimbabwe on our last hunt.It is very amazing to see how the bullets off yesteryear was constructed. On the frontal brainshots on a elephant the solids totaly broked up,same on buffalo when it hit the spine,it allso broked up.
This makes me feel very uncomfortable to use those old rounds.
Here in RSA i can get new solid ammo for the calibre, which i intend to use in future, like GS custom and Dzombo mono metal.
Now for my problem!I have a brand new RCBS reloading die set to reload with, but brass is a big problem.I dont want to use the old cases as they are very un reliable, they have cases seperation at the bases after shooting the old Kynoch ammo.I need to order 200 new cases from somewhere.
Do anybody perhaps know which companies do manufactor the calibre and from where i can order such.We have to rifles in this calibre which we want to start reloading for.
Then have any one have used solid monometal in there rifles.I am looking at the dzombo monometal brass which is desighned with thinner rifling bands to work in the old doubles.my friend Bjinse Visser are manufacturing these dzombo solids and they are easy to get from him. Any help and experience wil be welcome,i would really like to make this a workable rifle on elephant and buffalo again without damaging the barrels in future. This is a collectors pieace as well.

G'day from Downunder. Try Bertram Bullet Co, over here in Australia. He makes the brass you want. Google, "ammo dump". It should bring up his website. If you have trouble send me a personal email and I'll you get you in touch with him. His brass is expensive, but you won't have any trouble with the shells, and they are all head stamped nicely.
I'd rather attempt to do something great and fail, than attempt to do nothing and succeed.

Hornady (USA)makes very good brass and they happen to make both the 3" and the 3 1/4" 450/400.
