LONDON, July 11. -- "Hunting in Africa to-day is not what it was in the times of Baker and Speke," said Frederick C. Selous to the correspondent of THE NEW YORK TIMES, who visited him yesterday at his house in the heart of Surrey. Mr. Selous has been reported as being a correspondent of President Roosevelt on the subject of the latter's projected big game hunting expedition on the completion of his Presidential term.
