Bow hunt May 2009
I had the opportunity to go do a bit of bow hunting last week.
S'Dudla safaris really produced the goods.... as usual.
S'Dudla Safaris
Photo of the elevated hide....

Lots of space.
The Razor Tricks really produced the goods on this Bluewildebeest
He went down 80 yards from where he was shot.

Some of the other visitors to the hides or tree stands....
Grey Duiker

Following morning another Grey Duiker

Waterbuck

some of the birds....

Steenbuck ewe

Evenings were spend around a fire relaxing.....

and then I got the shot at the primary target species for this trip.
Impala ram

I have all ready started counting down the days to my next trip.
I have seen some monster Kudu Bulls and this time they will be the target species.....Gerhard

Congrats on the fine animals. That impala looks awsome.
I realy like the bird photos too. I cant wait, 51 days!!!I have walked in the tracks of the elephant, heard the lion roar and met the buffalo on his terms. I shall never be the same.

Gerhard, You got two great trophies there... It seems that you are as good with the camera as with your bow! I always enjoy your pictures
. BTW looks like you were trying to start a fire under that Impala's chin, haha!
