Default 340 Destroyer draws blood in Africa...

Just returned from a scouting session on our bow hunt concession.

One of the guys that some how was lucky enough to get his hands on the 1st 340 Destroyer in South Africa was hunting with us.

Yesterday around 16:25 he called us on the radio after spending close to 5 hours in 90º F heat in a tree stand.

He shot a nice Blue Wildebeest Bull.

The shot placement was spot on and he hammered the Bull.

The Bull went down within 60 yards.

Cant wait for my 350 Destroyer to arrive....

It looks like this season promise to be a good one.

    Hi Gerhard.
Here in Canada, the 340 and 350 have been available for a while. I've tried them both. I prefer the 340 as it has a higher brace height and is more forgiving while wareing lots of clothing as is normaly the case here in the frozen North. Great bow, but I think I will keep my Gaurdian for one more year. Great pictures by the way.
Best of luck with your new Bow-Tech, Mike Egan

There were 4 Destroyer's - General - Iceman - and Hoyt's and Barrnett crossbow being used on the hunt.

Great looking bull! The Destroyer is an awesome bow my buddy that runs the local bow shop has sold about a dozen of them everyone seems very pleased with them. I have looked at them pretty hard but i think i eill stay with my old 2006 tribute you cant go wrong if its a Bowteck.

My Tribute works great as well but it is a 80 to 90# bow.

The 70# Destroyer will be a great shooting bow for this season...
