  3. Spiral Horn Antelopes of Central Africa

    There are 5 antilopes in CAR with spiral horns, 4 of them are huntable: Lord Derby Eland, Bongo, Western Sitatunga and Harnessed Bushbuck. The western Kudu is living in unsafe area. Last season I was lucky and unlucky to bag all of them but not with the hunter, quite a challenge.



    Anyone got this slam in CAR or another country, for example in SA with, Kudu, Nyala, Eland, ...

    This is the last book of the famous hunter, Peter FLACK from South Africa. You learn lots of things about animals, africa and so on, great book.

  5. Who has hunted the 5 species of Buffalo ???

    I hunted 4 species already (see pictures), in Tanzania and Zimbabwe for cape buffalo, Central Africa for northwestern buffalo, Benin for savanna buffalo and Ivory coast for dwarf forest buffalo.... one is missing, nile buffalo from Ethiopia... The hunting method is the same, tracking... They all come to the call. Only the biotope is different. All are great to hunt and all can be dangerous !!!!

    Hello all,

    As many of you may already know I am a Professional hunter hunting in CAR (Central African republic), very good for Lord derby eland, buffalo, bongo, giant forest hog, from January to April and TANZANIA, very good for elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo from July to November.
