Record Buffalo Hunted in Benin My friend from Benin, Patrick Martin sent me the picture of the biggest buffalo shot since 1974!!!!!! 36 inch wide, should be the new number 1 SCI and Rowland Ward. A beautiful old bull with nice worn down horns, amazing because after 9 years of hard hunting there the biggest I shot was 32 inch.

I hunted 4 species already (see pictures), in Tanzania and Zimbabwe for cape buffalo, Central Africa for northwestern buffalo, Benin for savanna buffalo and Ivory coast for dwarf forest buffalo.... one is missing, nile buffalo from Ethiopia... The hunting method is the same, tracking... They all come to the call. Only the biotope is different. All are great to hunt and all can be dangerous !!!! What do you think about ?? ...
