Record Buffalo Hunted in Benin

My friend from Benin, Patrick Martin sent me the picture of the biggest buffalo shot since 1974!!!!!! 36 inch wide, should be the new number 1 SCI and Rowland Ward.

A beautiful old bull with nice worn down horns, amazing because after 9 years of hard hunting there the biggest I shot was 32 inch.

    As you can see in this close up, his right eye is very swollen and from the gash in his right brow bone, it seems that he received a big blow there, most probably while fighting... surely an old warrior!

    I'd rather take this old bull than a "green" boss measuring 40". This is a real trophy... a beauty! You can be a very happy chappie. Congrats!

    There's a rumor your guys ran it down with a truck...

    J/K nice old bull and definitely a real trophy due to the age and character. What were you shooting (cartridge info)?
