Bushbuck and Blesbok mounts
For those who were asking awhile back, here are pics of a couple of mounts from last years safari.

Christines Whitetail. Obviously not from last years safari but she wanted this unique agressive displaying mount and I like it enough that I just had to show it. It is a nice option especially when you already have several conventional mounts on the wall.

Lovely bushbuck! I always look at the ears, since many tax. seems to have trouble getting them right. Yours seems perfect.
Can i ask what taxidermist you used? The best hunt are the one in your dreams, the next best are the one in your memories.

Thanks, I used me. LOL
Ear color is definitely one thing I have noticed off on alot of African mounts. This guy is far from perfect but I do like how he turned out, as always after scrutinizing live reference against my mount I noticed a few small things that will make the next one even better. The journey is the reward.

Does anyone have any experience with metallic mounts? Copper, bronze, nickel?
I am looking for something different for skull mounts.
Thanks!

Nice job. I bet he lets you do the repeat work too.
Practice whispering before you leave for Africa!
A Legend in my own mind!
