Sharing a gun case
Going to South Africa for the first time in June. There are 3 of us going and I own 2 SKB double cases. I'm using one and planning on letting the other guys use my other 1. Is there anything special I need to know or that they will need to do at SAP office to clear the guns that are in the same case?
Thanks

No idea how much of a pain this could be...
I avoided this mixed firearm ownership in one case on my trip. I was concerned about my buddy carrying "my" rifle for me, so I sold him my rifle. All rifles in his name crossing borders. (firearms registration). I just "borrowed" it in SA.
From the US, someone else may be able to help if they have tried this before.
Airlines side:
Restricted to weight of ammunition. We each packed 100 rounds.
Over weight on ammo for one person. Some got left behind for each rifle.
(Not that you actually needed all that ammunition on the trip anyway)Practice whispering before you leave for Africa!
A Legend in my own mind!

Thanks again Brick. That was what I was thinking! Just wondering if anybody has ever shared a gun case w/ 2 different owners of guns inside. Is it doable incase they decide to go that route?
Do you get any issues at customs/SAP 3 hunters and only 2 w/ guns? I'm a first timer so not sure how all this works.
Thanks

Does each gun have to be in its own gun case or can I use just put both guns in one gun case?

Amazing trophies and what a story of perseverance. I know I would have gotten pretty frustrated after about day 6 with no luck but what a story about sticking with it and hunting hard until the last...
