Will it be a problem if traveling with Ammo/Barrel Stamp not exactly matching
i purchased a Winchester pre 64 model 70 that was originally a 375 H&H, but had been re bored to 375 Weatherby. The barrel is now stamped "375 H&H Magnum-Weatherby"
My ammo will be 375 Weatherby cases.
If I'm traveling to Africa, is this going to be a problem along the and/or upon arrival?

My humble guess: As long as that ammunition and the marking on the gun match that well, no one will notice the difference.
SAPS are not really gun collectors! Although some South Africans would disagree.Practice whispering before you leave for Africa!
A Legend in my own mind!

LRich, when I travelled through J'Burg last year SAPS did not even look at my ammo. So I am guessing that you should have no issue.
Even when we flew to Zim where they did look at the ammo, there only concern was that the quantity on the paper work matched what was in the boxes.

When I went thru Joburg last with gun and ammo (2009), they were more concerned about my ammo than my rifle. Go figure!
