All taxidermy finally back
First let me say that I would not consider myself a good judge of taxidermy quality. That said, as a customer I am pleased overall with the quality of the work. Now I just need to add on to the house so I can display all of these more properly.
Take a look and let me know what you think.
Here is a link to the post about the hunt.

Very nice work.
If you are happy with them that is what counts.
I would like to know how you managed to get your Gemsbok mount with horns included. I still have an invisible Gemsbok to hold my horns up.
Yo urea doing well to have them on the wall and being happy with the result.
That Eland must take up half the room. I have my cape and have not taken it to get mounted yet fearing I will have to move out of a room or build a new room just for it.Practice whispering before you leave for Africa!
A Legend in my own mind!

Your mounts look very good. You should be proud of them.

I really like your eland mount the best!

Gets me all excited...with any luck I will have mine by June. Glad you are happy with them! Might I ask who did the work? Was it here in the states or in Africa?

Thanks for all the responses guys.
BRICKBURN, sorry to hear about your gemsbok. That eland does take up quite a bit. It sticks out from the wall about 54 inches. My wife has been very accepting of me taking up the entire basement with my taxidermy.
enysse, I really like the eland too, after seeing them all he is also my favorite. I originally planned to get just a euro mount of him, but my PH insisted that he was such a great trophy that I do a shoulder mount. I am glad I listened.
RickB, I had the work done by a taxidermist in Fargo, ND (about 80 miles from where I live). Taxidermy is not his primary income and he only does a limited amount of work but he does a fine job in my opinion. I had a chance to look at his own African mounts before he did mine and that convinced me that he would do a good job. The mounts for the skulls were made by my father-in-law as well.
Thanks again guys.
