Default Delta Economy Comfort Power Plug Question

I will be flying to JNB soon from ATL on a Delta 777, economy comfort fare. I called Delta to see if a power plug was avaialble at the seats and never got a yes or no answer from them. Can anyone confirm that they have seen or not seen a power plug on this flight? Thanks.

Hi Silent Bob ~ Yes, James is right about the power outlet on Delta - first 10 rows of economy cabin on the flight to and from Johannesburg have AC power and Economy Comfort is located in the first 4 rows of those 10. Enjoy your trip!

i knew that you would have the answer...it all depends on what silent Bob seat assignment is...and if he wanted or needed power he should have worked with his travel agent...to obtain the seat with the connections he needed....

As a person that flys Delta several times a month I suspect that those seats come at a significant upcharge over normal economy fares...

I doubt it is just a matter of choosing the seats you would like. So it really is a question of "how much is it worth to you?"

Sounds like Silent Bob has already upgraded to the Economy Comfort fare which is typically $160 per person each way and this will guarantee him the seats with AC power plug. If you have any Medallion status with Delta then these seats are either discounted or at no charge. The remaining economy seats (behind Economy Comfort) that have AC plugs are typically reserved for Delta's priority members but some may be obtained in advance.

James - thanks for the vote of confidence!
