Default Wanted: Ideas/pics for kudu skull plate

A snafu led to my receiving a kudu skull plate rather than the entire skull that was supposed to be used as a european skull mount.

Anyone have any ideas what to do with it? Just simply mounting it on a plaque won't work - it would stick straight out from the wall!

I would even like ideas other than a traditional wall mount as long as I didn't have to cut or drill the horns.

You could make or have made for you a wooden plaque with a shelf or block of sorts that sticks out from the plaque. Make the shelf/block at the right angle such that when you attach the skull plate to the top of the shelf/block, the horns go up parallel to the wall and don't stick out.

I'd make a pair of wall sconces out of them, but you'd have to drill some.

I really like this idea! I think I'll do some of my future mounts this way!
