Importing wood cravings
Are there any new rules for importing wood carvings and curios from RSA or Namibia in your checked baggage.I have not had a problem in the past but realize USDA is always changing the rules.

I have brought back wood carvings every time I have came back from Africa without any problems. That being said, no telling what might happen if you get a pissy customs agent. I think you are ok on other curios if they don't have hide or ivory in or on them.
