2008 Africa mounts are back
I hunted in RSA last year and had a great time with Lakota Safaris and took some very fine animals. I was able to pick up all the mounts I had done last month and thought you all might like to see the great job my taxi did on them.

Nice work,
That pig is huge !!!!!I have walked in the tracks of the elephant, heard the lion roar and met the buffalo on his terms. I shall never be the same.

Thanks for all the kind replys. The big Warthog was a great ending to a fantastic hunt. It was the last day of my 10 day hunt and I was really tying to shoot a cull Impala for its hide until this guy showed up and changed everything. I made a perfect 32 yd shot and he only went about 60 yds and went down. His left side was right at 15" and his right was 14.5"

What an incredible warthog! Congratulations!
Your taxidermist did a very fine job on the zebra rug as well.

I can't say which one is my favorite because I am proud of them all and I have some great memories of each one of them. Africa has changed my life and the way I think about my life.

You took some very nice animals, and your taxidermist did a great job -- and fast!
I'm still waiting for half of my animals from 2005 and all of them from 2007.

I got word on Friday that my heads and hides from the May 2009 hunt in the RSA had finally arrived at my taxidermist. Still waiting for him to inventory everything to find out if I got MY trophies and if the beetles and bugs ate anything...
I sure hope they turn out as nice as the ones pictured!
