Unfortunately for me the recoil was not manageable, and I had to make adjustments. It is fine after the adjustments. The action was indeed a bit rough but is totally smooth now after working it. It is a fine rifle at affordable cost, it is not a Krieghoff or a Purdey, but it is reliable.
Cheers

Hi Spike,
No, its the same stock, it may just look a bit different in the sunlight.... But I am looking around for the 798 stock or even to have one custom made, one that will make a significant difference to the recoil. However its not that bad anymore with the decelerator recoil pad on.
