Help Identify .416 rifle
Hello All!, My Grandad and I were talking guns this past week end and he ask me about this thing called the internet and If I could find out some information and possibly a value on a gun he has.
He has made several hunts in Africa with a gentleman named George Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman decided to have a few guns custom built and asked my grandad if we wanted to buy one and that he was only going to build 5 of them. Of course my grandad agreed, and owns one of the Hoffman .416 rifles custom built by "E Dumoulin Deleye Herstal". We were just curious an approximate value on such a gun. My grandad couldn't remember if or where he would have put any paperwork that came with it.
His rifle condition is an approximate 8 out of 10.
We have spoke with Mrs. Hoffman and she did confirm that this one one of the 5 that were built. I have sent an email back to the factory to see if they had any documentation or other information.
I understand it is only worth what someone is willing to pay, but you never know, maybe someone here bought one of the remaining 4 rifles.
Thanks for any help........
