I thought your wife drowned you off Hawaii.
Glad your back at it Bart.
With all your encouragement I am working my way up.
I am actually taking a 300 Win Mag along this trip.
I also have a 375 H&H on order.
Not quite ready for the real mans club, but I am training.Practice whispering before you leave for Africa!
A Legend in my own mind!

Welcome back BART, a 416 Rigby is marginal (for plains game) in my opinion. I am sure that Hathcock (if he were still alive) and having knowledge of todays powders and bullets would still use one,,,,,, the 30-06....

Seriously though, welcome back, got any good hunting stories or just stop by to stir up some shit?

as has been said Bart where you been hiding? good to see you back with another taxing question
yup i agree, i tend to start with my .458 lott especially on up to puku sized animals , i am thinking i need to get a .500 or .577 to maybe move up to the bigger plains game, whats your opinion on those calibres for the bigger antelopes etc? and how did you manage not to be drowned in hawaii?

A 416 is marginal as a squirrel gun!
No need to get plains game stuck with a bunch of `skeeter ' bites from one of those little pop guns.
Bigger is better!
